Drake: “Ich hoffe, dass bald jemand einen Film über Obamas Leben dreht, weil ich ihn spielen könnte.”
Supernewcomer, Drake teilte “Paper Mag” neulich seine Bewunderung dem ersten afroamerikanischen Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten gegenüber. Drake würde Barack Obama liebend gerne, in dem ersten Film über den gewählten Afroamerikaner, verkörpern.
Drake hat sich bereits mental auf diese Aufgabe vorbereitet:
“Ich hoffe, dass bald jemand einen Film über Obamas Leben dreht, weil ich ihn spielen könnte. Das wäre ein Treffer (lacht). Ich verfolge all seine Reden. Jedes Mal, wenn ich ihn im TV sehe, wechsele ich nicht den Kanal. Ich schenke ihm meine Aufmerksamkeit und höre darauf wie er sich ausdrückt und seine Stimme nutzt.
Wenn ihr jemanden fragt, der mich kennt, wird man euch sagen, dass ich mich ziemlich gut ausdrücken kann. Langsam aber sicher! Ich bin nicht im Studiermodus, weil sich noch nie jemand über meine Ausdrucksweise beschwert hat, aber ich passe einfach auf, damit ich eines Tages nicht alles umschmeißen muss, umso sprechen zu lernen, wie Obama es tut.
Ich möchte in große Filmprojekte mit einbezogen werden. Ich möchte nicht diese Basketball-Filme machen, die jeder macht. Genauso wenig möchte ich einen Film über Schwarze machen, den jeder erwartet. Ich glaube, dass ich genügend Erfahrung habe, um tatsächlich in einem wirklich bedeutenden Film mit Substanz mitspielen zu können.”
Will Smith wird viel eher als Drake einen solchen Film drehen..
