Pitbull gewinnt vor Gericht
Miami Rapper Pitbull hat richtig Glück gehabt. Anders kann man das nicht nennen. Eine Anklage wegen Autofahrens unter Alkoholeinfluss gegen den Rapper wurde fallen gelassen und das obwohl er keinen Alkoholtest bestanden hat.
Der Vorfall fand im Jahr 2007 statt. Pitbull, dessen richtiger Name Armando Perez ist, raste an einem Polizeiauto mit erhöhter Geschwindigkeit in seinem Mercedes vorbei. Die Polizisten hielten ihn an und befahlen dem Rapper auszusteigen. Pitbull weigerte sich. Als er jedoch ausstieg, merkten die Beamten, dass er nicht mehr in der Lage war geradeaus zu laufen. Dies sagte einer der Polizisten letzten Mittwoch aus.
Da die Polizisten starken Alkoholgeruch von Pitbull vernahmen, ließen sie ihn mehrere Übungen durchführen, von denen er keine einzige bestand.
Der Rapper erklärte diesen Vorfall den Richtern folgendermaßen:” Ich war das Opfer, weil ich berühmt bin.”
Aber wie hat er es geschafft den Fall für sich zu entscheiden?
Ganz einfach, die Übungen, die die Polizei mit dem Rapper gemacht hatte, wurden nicht aufgezeichnet und er hat sich geweigert in ein Atemtestgerät zu pusten. Darum gab es vor Gericht keine eindeutigen Beweise.
