Shyne unterschreibt bei Def Jam

Nachdem Rapper Shyne eine neunjährige Haftstrafe abgesessen hat und im Oktober letzten Jahres freigekommen ist, ist ein Streit zwischen mehreren Labeln um Shyne ausgebrochen.
Darunter befanden sich Jimmy Iovine und Dr. Dre, die sich um Shyne bemüht haben. Der Rapper wies sie jedoch alle ab und entschied sich für das Label bei dem er zuletzt unter vertrag stand: Def Jam.
Er unterzeichnete einen Seven Figure Deal und wird in Zukunft an einem neuen Album in London arbeiten, weil er nach seiner Entlassung die Vereinigten Staaten verlassen musste.
